Business Travel Accident Business Travel Accident (BTA) is provided to benefits eligible full and part-time associates, their spouses, children, domestic partners, and domestic partners children at no cost to the employee. It provides benefits in accordance with a schedule for accidental death or dismemberment. Field Coordinators & Revision Leads, full and part-time merchandisers, leased employees and independent contractors are not eligible for this benefit. Death Benefit Active full-time and part-time (working 20+ hours) benefits eligible Non-Union, Exempt and Non-Exempt associates will receive an amount equal to 3 times the associate’s basic annual earnings rounded to the next lower $1,000 with a maximum of $3,000,000. Spouse of Covered Associates: $75,000 Children of Covered Associates: $25,000 Dismemberment Benefits Dismemberment benefits for eligible dismemberments range from 25% to 100% of the full death benefit. For example, if an associate lost sight in one eye due to a covered accident while traveling on company business, the benefit payable under BTA would be 50% of the death benefit.
